Experiencing the Northern Lights from our room was magical, and the outdoor hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking.

The family room offered fine views of the nearby lake, especially for those who enjoy smoked salmon. The service at the hotel was great, feeling like a 5-star experience in a cozy setting.

While the warm breakfast offerings left a lot to be desired, with scrambled eggs not hitting the mark, we had to chuckle at the chilly bacon. And, those low-flying birds on the drive over made for a quirky adventure!

The venue is attractive, it offers incredible breakfast and has stunning location next to the Hengifoss waterfalls as well as a beautiful forest on the edge of a dramatic lake with superb walking and hiking trails immediately available. Superior double room is luxurious, has a clean bathroom. Great to have an electronic key card, a work desk, and television...

We had a standard family room with comfortable bed and an electric kettle, central heating, and a work desk. It had astonishing views over the valley.

The rooms were good-sized and luxurious with stunning views of the lake. Quiet and convenient location to attractions like East Highlanders, that was easy walk to the hotel. The vibe here was family. The staff was competent and attentive, offered excellent services.

The hotel's locations near fine landscapes were a highlight, offering lovely views. Breakfast was disappointing. Staff cleared food early and were not attentive to dietary needs. If you plan to dine, consider nearby restaurants for better options. The hot tub also wasn't available during the morning.

In a hotel of this size, I expected shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower!!! The lobby area could use some sprucing with new furniture, and chairs for the terrace would improve the outdoor experience tremendously!!!

The buffet breakfast was great and had so many options. We also loved visiting a historical exhibit nearby and going for an ATV tour in the beautiful forest. It's a fantastic spot for a group getaway.
